We just finished a weeks evangelistic meetings with Timothy Silcott, a ventriloquist evangelist.  It was exciting and opens the way for other exciting things in the near future.

The next thing on the calendar is our annual Valentine Banquet.  It will be held at the church, catered by "Honey-Baked Ham" and will cost $12:00 per person.  Our guest speaker will be Dr. Duane Gish, a nationally known figure from The Institute for Creation Research.  It will be well worth your time!

Jericho Road Baptist Church will be heading up a mission work in Haiti for involvement by those outside our ministry to participate in.  The hurricane Jeanne did a lot of damage to that Island, and the needs are overwhelming.  For more information on this project contact the church at jerichoroadbaptistchurch@juno.com or by calling (619) 466-8144.

February 20, Richard and Nancy Teachout, Missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions to Canada will be with us through Feb. 23.  They will be telling us about the ministry in Canada as well as a new ministry the Lord is opening up for them.  Services are on Sunday - 9:30 a.m. for Sunday School, 10:35 a.m. for morning service and 6:00 p.m. for Sunday Evening Worship.  Wednesday evening prayer meeting time is 7:00 p.m.
